Advanced Trainers & Consultants (ATAC) was formed in 1999 by 2 prominent Oregon businessmen, Mark Ramsey and Dennis Giddens.  Over the years, ATAC has helped hundreds of companies thrive in all kinds of economic conditions.  ATAC consultants use a "practical" rather than "theoretical" approach to business solutions.  We work with business owners and managers via a number of tools such as on-site visits and Video Conferencing.  We choose our clients with one philosophy in mind... "If it isn't fun, don't do it".  This insures that we are always ready to help our clients solve their problems, lower their stress and enjoy their work!

Mark Ramsey - Mark was born and raised in West Virginia.  A Pilot by education, Mark began his flying career in the military.  Upon meeting his wife, he transitioned to the airlines where he quickly realized the industry had dark days ahead.  Partnering with several Oregon businessmen, Mark co-founded Starsign Northwest Aerial Advertising in 1990.  He ran that company until selling in 1995 and then purchased an advertising agency, Advanced Impressions.  Under Mark's direction, Advanced Impressions grew an average of 920% each year, winning multiple awards, until he sold it in 2000.  Married to an Oregon nurse, Mark and his wife have two kids.

Dennis Giddens -   An Oregon native, Dennis  Giddens serves as ATAC's CFO and primary financial consultant.  He studied business and accounting at Portland State University and began his career co-founding a popular Portland pizza chain.  While managing partner of the chain, it grew from 1 restaurant to 5 locations and won a number of awards, both business and culinary.  Seeking new challenges, Dennis joined Advanced Impressions as CFO in 1997.  Dennis is involved in a number of companies as both investor and CFO.  He is married and lives in Vancouver, Washington.
